I’ve been very fortunate to be able to live in the south of Spain. Initially I came to these parts on golfing trips, but in 2015 my wife Katie convinced me to buy a beautiful house needing lots of work (money pit) on the edge of the town of San Enrique, near Sotogrande.
We also own a holiday rental property in the fantastic white village (Pueblo Blanco) of Vejer de la Frontera which we visit from time to time, to shop for crazy shirts for me, and to eat some fantastic food. The best beaches in all of Spain are only a few km away. Find out more here.
Our latest purchase is where I write this from. Nestled on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, 1,250m above sea level is Casa Verdejo in the town of Mecina Bombarón.
With views to die for, clean dry air, and traditional village life (this picture was taken outside our front door), it’s a great place to go and reset and hide from your ‘normal’ life for a little while.
This is the perfect getaway from the heat of the summer, and great for hikers, bikers, dog owners etc. Have a look at our website for more information.
