League runs from 1st September to 30th April. During this time, each player must play each other player once. Singles matchplay. 60 tees – unless both players agree to play other tees. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.

If a match is unable to be played, it will be assumed to be a draw unless one player is the sole cause of it, in which case they forfeit the match.

It would be expected that matches will be played either early morning or mid-late afternoon.

Upon the completion of the league, the top 4 players will have a knockout with P1 playing P4, and P2 playing P3, then the winners going to the final. These knockout rounds to be over 9 holes, played on the same day, with celebration party afterwards for all competitors.

Maximum competitors in the league is 12, and by invitation only, with a general emphasis on low handicaps and fast play, plus availability (i.e. must be permanent resident).

To calculate how many shots are given to the higher handicap player, calculate the number of shots allowed on the slope for each player and take 100% of the difference. However, the maximum handicap allowed before slope is 9.9, so if a player has a higher handicap than this, they must play off 9.9.

€40 entry fee for each player in year 1 to fund a trophy plus prize money for the winner.
